In a proactive move, Governor CV Anand Bose was seen personally investigating a complaint about tree cutting at 12 Rowland Road, Ballygunge. The governor reached the site and conversed with residents, discovering that an old tree had been felled, likely due to ongoing construction work in the area. Governor Bose, who has recently taken a stand against tree cutting near the Education Department, expressed his intention to plant 100 Peepal saplings in memory of the removed tree at Raj Bhavan.
